Eddie James Concert!

Hey Everybody! Just wanted to tell you all about the awesome experience we had this weekend. Eddie James and his crew, including the dance team Excalibur, came to Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain, NC to perform. Wow, it was amazing. The place was packed out with people coming from everywhere to see Eddie and his team. Awesome preshow lincluded three dance teams from Family Worship Center. All three of them rocked the house. Then the FWC praise team performed two songs including a very annointed song that God gave the worship leader, Molora. We were honored to have the opportunity to be a part of it. I sang with the praise team and Jonathan rocked the bass like nobody's business!! It was so cool! Loved every minute of it. Molora is the best worship leader and the whole praise team is so incredible! Eddie and his team hit the stage and the crowd was already pumped. It was amazing. I love Eddie and his ministry, so to actually get to see him lead worship in person and to even get to see his other teams perform was just so great!! Excalibur is so talented! The FWC youth drama team was really excited to see Excalibur, because they've been learning their dance to "You are Worthy." FWC youth drama team performed that dance in the morning service, then they got to see the team the dance came from actually perform it. They were going crazy! It blessed me so much to hear the stories of where the kids that travel with Eddie came from. Some of the things they have been through are just unbelievable. And to see them so on fire for God and declaring the word was awesome. Not only did they declare the word of the Lord, they came down into the altars and laid hands on kids, teens, and even adults. Such a blessing. And Eddie's vision and his ministry is so big and so great. He really is making a difference in these kids lives. I wish I had a million dollars to donate some great things to his ministry. I just loved getting to meet his wonderful teams. Jonathan even spent the afternoon with the dance team. He said he was just amazing by how real they were and how passionate they are about the Lord. He even played the piano a little bit with on of the dance team members named Zach. What annointed young man he is. It was all just awesome and our church family is the best there is in the world. You will never meet more loving people. And you will also never meet people who are more passionate about God and believe in holiness and living out their walk everyday. They are such real people who are not fake at all and who really do love God, they don't just pretend to worship the Lord. It's amazing.

Every step we take, He's there

Well today I wanted to tell you guys about how awesome God is. He is so faithful. Jonathan wrote about our old camero dying in his last post and that was really awful. Well, last week our new camero died in the middle of nowhere while I was driving it. Yeah, not fun. Thankfully, a rental company came and picked us up and took us to get a rental car. We only got to rent the car for two days, I would kept it forever! Oh my gosh, I loved driving that car. Beautiful and fuel efficient! What more can you ask for? Anyway, we did have to take the car back though, which was going to leave us without a vehicle at all. Then, my amazing husband calls my parents to see if we could possibly borrow one of their vehicles. My dad calls him back and says that he had just bought a car for him to drive back and forth to work and the lady he bought it from brought it to work for him to drive home and he wasn't expecting to get it for a few more days. So, he offered for us to come and pick it up and borrow it until we get our situation worked out. And he says to Jonathan, isn't it amazing how God provides just on time. I was blown away. I mean, I know that God is faithful and He has proven himself faithful to me over and over again. But, in that moment, when the car died, I thought it was all over. It's just so amazing because my parents don't really have any money at all. And yet, they have helped us out so much. And Jonathan's parents have too. God just continues to show me that He is God and I don't know everything and I certainly don't know everything about Him.
You know God is always watching us. Even when we don't feel Him in the midst of our circumstance. He is always there and He is always orchestrating every step we take. That's why I love that song by Casting Crowns, Praise you in this storm. Because we don't understand, but God sees everything in it's entirety. Not just the moment. He's just so amazing.

John 4:24

So it has been a week. Sunday was my birthday. I turned 28. I am getting close to 30.......I just scared myself. Monday was my last day at my old job and Tuesday was my first day in the office Lots of new stuff to take in. Tuesday was also our 2 year wedding anniversary. Tuesday night we went down to Greenville, SC to go out to dinner. We had a great dinner, but afterwards our car broke down in the parking lot. Nice anniversary present..Huh? We spent Wednesday going to Gastonia and picking up our other car that was also in the shop. Now, we just got done with youth group. The youth leader is out of town for the rest of the week and I spoke. It went good. Spoke on how worship is not just an outward act but an attitude of the heart. In studying, God really spoke to me to remember to always has that attitude of worship in my heart even when bad things happen. Like the car messing up and stuff.

Well God Rocks my world as usual!!!
